Our Customer Solutions team delivers digital customer experiences used by millions of Australians every day – unlocking value for our clients and their end-users. This team brings together design thinking (CX, DX, UX and UI) and a strong technology engineering capability (frontend, backend, DevOps and integration) to create scalable, robust and production live digital solutions. We draw from a toolbox of mobile app, web app, martech, cloud, AI and integration technologies to build our solutions.
Your role, as a Digital Project Manager, will be responsible for project delivery and smooth operation of digital projects delivered to our clients, including web applications, mobile applications and digital portals.
Your Opportunity
As a member of the Customer Solutions team in KPMG, the Digital Project Manager will play a crucial role by:
- Being responsible for end-to-end project management and smooth operation of digital projects delivered to our clients, including web applications, mobile applications and digital portals.
- Leading high performing digital delivery teams throughout the software development life-cycle – consisting of designers (UX, UI and CX) engineers (web, mobile, infrastructure, integration, martech), Solution Architects, DevOps and testers.
- Being accountable for delivering projects on budget and on time, with a happy client, and happy team.
- Working closely with senior client stakeholders in delivering digital solutions – including gathering requirements, sizing delivery effort, regular status updates and ceremonies, as well as navigating client approvals and risk mitigation.
- Developing support documentation including detailed delivery timelines, risk and issue logs, and requirement specifications.
- Having a digital product mindset – working closely with client Digital Product Managers to understand the vision, purpose and requirements of their digital products, then delivering on the vision. Proactively looking for ways to improve digital products and unlocking additional client revenue.
- Highlighting potential risks early and acting proactively to resolve issues.
- Working as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team in Customer Solutions – with strategy, design, product and sector specialists.
- Collaborating with other teams in KPMG as required to deliver digital products (This includes security, cloud, data, integration, and platforms {Salesforce, Microsoft, Service Now, Appian, IBM, Google}, as well as sector and service lines)
- Working on business development activities between projects to assist in securing future work.
This role is a Sydney based position.

Your Experience
- You have proven experience in leading high performing multi-disciplinary project teams with an end-user and commercial lens.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, working with a team of Engineers (Web, Mobile, Infrastructure, Integration), Solution Architects, DevOps and testers.
- Experience in delivering end-user (customer) facing digital experiences and products across web and mobile technologies (Web sites, portals, mobile apps).
- Proven record of delivering using Agile and Agile Hybrid methodologies – including Scaled Agile PRINCE2 and Waterfall.
- Proven record of delivering solutions using CMS, and mobile development in Native and or cross-platform technologies. Including integration with CRMs, martech, Identity Management, middleware, datalakes and core systems.
- Desire to explore and deliver solutions that incorporate the use of AI technologies to empower and enrich the user experience.
- Experience in delivering within regulated industries and within Australian standards (specifically within security, privacy, financial and accessibility regulations/standards).
- Tertiary qualifications (Masters or Bachelors degree) within a relevant field.
