Short Description:

This role involves designing, developing and delivering microservices. Ability to digest complex orchestration of numerous systems while adhering to stringent performance guidelines.

The role in in an engineering ecosystem where doing the right thing with the highest quality is the norm. The role demands out of the box thinking and more over being a great team player.

1. Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8+ years of design and build experience in software backend features using Java, Springboot, Microservices
• Experience with CI/CD, dockerization, knowledge of Kafka and OpenShift
• Experience with development best practices
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to propose new solutions.
• APIs and related concepts
• Good exposure in containerizing applications with Docker
• Knowledge of cloud
• Experience in Agile delivery model

Additional Skills:

• Ability to support the testing team
• Excellent customer interfacing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills
