Senior Software Engineer

A skillful and dynamic person, someone who takes ownership of their deliverables, experienced working with agile software development, multiple stakeholders at various levels and ideally with previous experience with complex and large-scale systems.

What you will be doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on clean, maintainable codeWork on back-end services and API development in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
• Work closely with product and design teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure application stability in distributed and cloud-native environments
• Support the DevOps transformation of our systems, helping migrate to cloud-native architectures
• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments

You are a good match if you have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Experience in Java and Spring Boot for back-end development, including API design and implementation
• Experience working in Linux environments, with comfort in shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI for CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)Strong familiarity with Docker and containerization, with experience in creating, managing, and deploying containerized applications
• Experience in networking fundamentals, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, X.509 certificates, and load balancing
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting full-stack issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

You get extra points for:

• Experience with Kotlin
• Familiarity with Docker Swarm and container orchestration
• Experience with DevOps practices, including cloud deployment strategies, infrastructure as code (IaC), and observability
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with public and private cloud.
