Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's team based in Munich to work on consumer electronics and smart devices projects for the European market.

In this role, you will develop real-time embedded software for consumer electronics, optimizing firmware, bootloaders, and RTOS for high performance and efficiency. You’ll implement secure, low-power architectures for smart devices, enhance connectivity and sensor integration, and ensure compliance with industry standards for safety and security.

At least 3 years' of:

• Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++).
• Deep understanding of RISC-V architecture (toolchains, ISA extensions, security).
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) or bare-metal programming for real-time applications.

Considered a plus:

• Knowledge of hardware-software co-design, SoC architectures, and low-power optimization.
• Familiarity with wireless connectivity protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) and smart device integration.
• Experience with cybersecurity, encryption, and secure boot is a plus.
