React Developer

Senior React Developer

Contract: 12 months with strong possibility of extension and conversion

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office in Toronto

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and implement productivity solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with project teams and other departments to understand project requirements and contribute to meetings.
• Develop and improve application development standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Enhance existing applications/solutions by contributing to design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Assist in execution and delivery of projects within the Capital Markets domain.

Must-Have Skills (Top 3 Non-Negotiable):

1. Frontend Development Expertise – 7+ years of experience with React, HTML5, and TypeScript.
2. Hands-On Coding – This role requires active coding, not just code review or delegation.

Required Qualifications & Technologies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of programming and database experience with strong business knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in web application technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, React.
• Understanding of API security best practices.
• Expertise in design, analysis, and application development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of business requirements and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Industry-Specific Experience:

• Banking and Capital Markets experience preferred.
