Business Analyst

Position : Business Analyst

Localisation : Geneva

Occupancy rate : 80 - 100%

Job purpose :

A running project is underway to implement NRH (New Route Handling) and decommission ATM applications replaced by it.

As part of this project, it is necessary to elicit and document business requirements, plus organize and support user testing.

The deliverables of this position are:

• Elicit requirements for new features
• Write the service and functional system requirements and test cases according to internal guidelines
• Ensure all new and existing functionalities are covered by business requirements
• Support during development and implementation activities
• Organize/coordinate user acceptance testing

Close cooperation will be required with the project team, the rest of the Business Analyst team, IT colleagues, the safety department team, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with relevant stakeholders, mainly air traffic controllers, product managers/owners and architects to refine functionalities
• Define business use cases and elicit requirements to meet the required business capabilities
• Assure the link with the enterprise architecture by aligning with architects
• Contribute or lead testing and documentation activities, deliver test cases
• Use business analysis skills to derive and write clear business concepts or white papers

Technical competencies :

• Requirements Engineering
• Process engineering
• ATM knowledge

Knowldege/experience :

• Proven experience in business requirements engineering and business process engineering
• Strong skills to foster collaboration, drive innovation as well at a conceptual level
• Strategic thinking and ability to see the big picture and to implement new ways of working
• Ability to inspire results through analysis and visual representation
• Testing (-> incl. business test case, etc)
• Experience in an Agile Delivery Environment
• Very good verbal and written English
• Experience using Polarion is an asset

Education :

• Master degree or similar, specialization in Aviation or ATM Business is an asset
• IREB certification is an advantage
