Regional Product Manager – Taste Sweets. Your future Position?

You will provide competitive-edge analysis to identify growth opportunities and product needs for Taste Sweets in Latin America. You will be the 'go to' product expert and will create product strategy to address gaps and opportunities to lead to industry leadership, improved win rate and above market growth.

You'll report to the Regional Director of Product Innovation, and you will work onsite with a possibility to one day a week from home.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Support delivery of sales and margin results by collaborating with important partners on strategic global or cross regional platforms.

• Identify growth opportunities and product needs in Sweets category and define commercial product strategy.
• Define product and technology requirements for with Regions and establish business justifications for new projects in collaboration.
• Promote the commercialization of new products and technologies coming through the research pipeline.
• Manage assigned global product portfolio to ensure it is relevant, complete, and profitable.
• Work with Science and Technology, Operations and Supply Chain to resolve issues affecting product cost and supply.
• Support presentations of new products and technologies to main customer targets.

Your professional profile includes:

• University degree in Food Science, Chemistry or Biology.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles in the food industry, having worked at international manufacturing companies.
• Experience in the flavour or ingredient industry with emphasis in product management with sweet products.
• Several years of successful track record in developing new business or commercialising products in related segments.
• Fluency in English (90%) is required.
