Senior/Lead Android Software Engineer

Our client's project is a mobile-first consumer finance business, operating a digital credit card and working in partnership with leading consumer brands in the UK.

IF YOU ARE

Experienced with 7+ years in Android software development
Skilled in working within an agile team using practices such as pairing and code reviews
Strong in developing consumer-facing Android applications using Kotlin
Proficient in design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
Practiced in writing unit tests using a mocking framework
Knowledgeable in reactive programming with RxJava or Kotlin Flow
Experienced with dependency injection
Adept at using one or more of Koin, Realm, Coroutines, Flows, Navigation Component, Compose, Mockito, JUnit, Espresso, and MVVM architecture
Familiar with managing apps in Google Play Console
Aware of working with design applications such as Sketch or Figma
Demonstrating experience with other front-end platforms such as iOS or Web (Angular) is a plus

Investigate crash reports, fix bugs, and perform performance analysis
Continuously learn and strive to deliver software of the highest quality

Deliver a significant backlog of changes with varied and interesting activities for a business transforming the consumer finance industry
Work with TalkBack to create accessible apps for visually impaired users
