What Success Looks Like In This Role

In this role, we are looking for a person who is willing to be adaptive and is not afraid to learn. The current technology stack is .NET C# with Microsoft SQL where we develop data ingestion pipelines and handle a large amount of data that is later used by other microservices or Machine Learning teams. However, the company is agile and lots of investments are going towards AI, which might mean data storage migrations, new data lake setups, architectural decisions, and similar might become the new focus.

Key Responsibilities

Write high-quality code with thorough testing
Ensure code security and address vulnerabilities
Work in a Scrum team, collaborate effectively with team members, offering and receiving help as needed
Actively participate in code and design reviews, contributing to team knowledge
Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, applying them as needed
Assist in architectural decisions, data storage migrations, and setting up new data lake
Engage in continuous learning and improvement to adapt to our evolving tech stack

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is an advantage
5+ years of experiences with database platforms (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL) and T-SQL, including 3+ years in ETL/ELT environments and backend infrastructure/data systems
Basic understanding of WebApps and APIs
Proficiency in C# (.NET6/8) and SQL
Knowledge of JSON/XML and experience in microservices design, development, maintenance, and deployment
Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools
Experience with CI/CD for Data Platform services and Azure DevOps integration
Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Hive, Docker is an advantage
Strong communication and problem-solving
Ability to explain complex systems to both engineers and stakeholders
Mentoring and technical feedback experience

Salary range: 4450 - 5800 €/m Gross
