Senior C++ Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a backend engineer for our client. You will work on backend C++ applications that handle truck parameterization and BOM data used for technical calculations, factory operations, and sales order specifications. You will be part of a cloud migration initiative, transitioning on-prem applications to Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) while modernizing software into scalable cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain C++ backend applications with integration to cloud-based environments.
• Work with Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), containerization (Podman/Docker), and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
• Modernize existing applications and participate in cloud migration efforts.
• Utilize GIT, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines to optimize development workflows.
• Implement best practices in code quality, scalability, and system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in:

• C++ development
• Node.js, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), Oracle DB
• Containerization (Podman/Docker), REST APIs, Python
• Version control tools: Git, Bitbucket

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PHP, CI/CD pipelines, and message queue concepts (IBM MQ).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Ability to think proactively and contribute to robust, scalable, and high-quality applications.
