Azure SRE Terraform Architect

We are looking for an experienced Azure SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) Terraform Architect for a 12-month contract in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.

• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and scaling.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Ensure disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) strategies are in place.
• Implement security best practices, including RBAC, encryption, and network security in Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth system performance.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
• Document infrastructure architecture, automation scripts, and troubleshooting procedures.

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture / SRE roles, with a strong focus on Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform, ARM templates, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go) for automation.
• Hands-on experience in Azure networking, security, identity management (Azure AD), and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and optimize system performance.
• Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Location: Dubai (on-site preferred).
• Contract Duration: 12 months.
