Firmware Engineer

Join our client’s team in Stockholm and develop cutting-edge firmware for ARM Cortex-based medical imaging devices. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-time, high-performance embedded solutions that enhance diagnostics and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, you will develop and optimize firmware for ARM Cortex-based medical imaging systems, ensuring real-time processing and high precision. You will focus on low-power optimization for portable imaging devices, while ensuring security and compliance with medical device standards. Collaborating with hardware engineers, AI developers, and clinical specialists, you’ll integrate advanced imaging technologies into next-gen medical devices.

What You Bring:

• Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++).
• Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux in high-performance imaging systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of signal processing, FPGA integration, and hardware-software co-design.

Will help you stand out:

• Expertise in ARM Cortex-M/A firmware development for real-time medical applications.
• Familiarity with medical device standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) and cybersecurity.
• Experience with high-speed data interfaces (PCIe, MIPI, USB, Ethernet).
