Project Developer

JDRoss are seeking a talented and experienced Solar Project Developer to join on of our clients in Austria.

As a Solar Project Developer, you will play a key role in the development of solar projects from inception.

You will be responsible for identifying and securing new project opportunities, conducting site assessments, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Secure necessary permits, approvals, and interconnection agreements for project development
• Manage project development activities, including land acquisition, environmental assessments, and engineering design
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and finance teams to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory agencies, and community members
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in project development processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in , Renewable Energy, or related field to project development
• Proven experience in project development in Austria.
• Strong knowledge of development, project finance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Fluency in German and English languages
• Willingness to travel within Austria for site visits and project meetings
