The Role

As a Java Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and scaling a robust, cloud-based financial platform. You’ll work with a modern Java stack (Java 17+), build resilient microservices, and ensure high availability with Kubernetes and Kafka.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using modern Java (17+).
• Design and optimise cloud-based microservices architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Work with Kubernetes and Kafka to ensure system resilience and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Participate in technical discussions, making key architectural decisions.

Who You Are

• Fluent in Swedish (essential for working with local stakeholders).
• Strong experience with Java 17 or later.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or Kafka.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring solutions).
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with some onsite presence in Stockholm.
