Are you a Functional Analyst with experience in the banking and insurance sector? We have a contract role available with one of our FS clients in Brussels.

Role Overview

As a Functional Analyst, you will work on translating business and technical requirements into structured solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting key system improvements. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, coordinate small projects, and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate (non-)functional requirements into structured analysis for small to medium-sized features.
• Ensure compliance with banking and insurance regulatory requirements.
• Apply modeling languages and tools for system and process analysis.
• Support integration testing, write test cases, and assist the test team.
• Investigate incidents, propose solutions, and communicate resolutions to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update system documentation to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client-centric and efficient service offerings.
• Coordinate small projects, manage task distribution, and monitor progress.
• Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on processes and tools.
• Analyze the impact of system and process changes, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and highlight key attention points.

Your Profile

✔ 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst.

✔ Strong understanding of banking/insurance operations, products, and services.

✔ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in financial services.

✔ Experience in system analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

✔ Ability to coordinate tasks and small projects, ensuring successful execution.

✔ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

✔ Fluent in [Dutch or French] + English.

✔ A continuous learner with a growth mindset.
