Project Manager - Engineering & Technology x 2

The purpose of these roles is delivery of CCEP project initiatives across the regional areas. We have two Senior Manager, Project Manager roles responsible for two locations:

  • France, Belgium & The Netherlands
  • GB & The Nordics

The project locations will vary but where possible 75 to 80% of the projects will be in the Business Unit (BU) of residence, but there is the possibility of 20 to 25% of workload outside home BU. Travel is likely to be a minimum of 50%. This is great opportunity to project manage engineering projects individually up to €50m.

What to Expect:

Install new, develop and / or improve CCEP’s production and logistics infrastructure through:

  • Technical and economic solution development of engineering & technology projects
  • Develop and align business cases with all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the Development of specific technical solutions
  • Develop project schedules and risks (incl mitigation plans)
  • Develop and implement project organisational structures
  • Identify suitable suppliers
  • Engineering Project Delivery from concept to handover
  • Define scope, estimate costing and support business case development.
  • Initiate capital requests and co-ordinate equipment procurement and supplier selection
  • Manage project safety and safe design processes
  • Manage project programme and costs to budgets and business needs.
  • Create and manage project design and execution teams
  • Support project design and contractor technical management
  • Manage and implement project risk identification, mitigation and change management processes
  • Manage internal stakeholders and customers to ensure project scope, timing and handover process is clear and to programme
  • Manage, together with site operations resources, the installation, commissioning and full operational handover, leveraging supplier relationships, structured processes and technical expertise
  • Expertise in specification and technical strategy
  • Be allocated to support in the development of equipment specification and standards at least one nominated, process, filling & packaging or automated logistics equipment type
  • Define appropriate technologies for safe, hygienic, economic, simple and efficient operation of that nominated equipment type
  • Be able to take part in process, filling and packaging equipment or automated logistics equipment evaluations.
  • Supplier management:
  • Develop CCEP’s supplier base to make sure we maintain cost effective solutions for our Engineering & Technology projects and their subsequent operational lifecycle



Key Stakeholders

  • CCEP Customer Service & Supply Chain Leadership, CCEP Engineering & Technology Leadership team,
  • CCEP Customer Service & Supply Chain Central functions: Strategy, commercialisation, QESH
  • CCEP business unit manufacturing directors & Operations Senior Management,
  • External original equipment manufacturers / suppliers, construction companies and contractors.

Influence required with all these stakeholders will range from advising & recommending through to persuading & negotiating.

Skills and Essentials:

Experience Preferred

  • Site engineering management and/or engineering project management (projects > 10M€)

Functional Technical Skills Required

  • This job family manage the supply, storage, transport and distribution of equipment, materials and goods as well as the organisation's manufacturing and production operations.
  • Activities include scope definition, design, co-ordination, control and planning; managing supplier relationships; supply-chain & vendor management

Behavioural Competencies Required

  • Leading a Project group within a BU or Function, building plans, projects, business cases and supporting delivery through others & suppliers

Qualifications

  • Engineering, process technology or technical packaging and / or project management tertiary education
  • Degree level in engineering or packaging together with project experience preferred

Travel Required

  • Minimum 50% travel required in country / outside together

Language capability

  • Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and language of country where based
