Our client, a large QLD Government Department, is seeking to engage an experienced Business Analyst to focus on optimising business processes, enhancing performance reporting, improving operational efficiency and streamlining workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated understanding and capability in the development and documentation of business processes, including process mapping and procedural writing as well as being proficient with Visio.
- Lead the design, establishment and implementation of, the performance reporting, including identification of appropriate metrics, setting up of reports, dashboards and reporting systems namely within the Trust work unit (within Customer Finance).
- Uplift existing reporting processes which will allow managers, the Director and the Chief Finance Officer to make more timely and informed decisions, allowing proper escalations.
- Develop, implement, monitor and report on systems, policies, practices and procedures associated with the day to day running of the Customer Finance operations to management, to improve efficiency and effectiveness and to assist with the delivery of services to customers.
- Undertake process walk throughs to understand current practices, enhance productivity, streamline operations and find inefficiencies in existing processes.
- Ability to visualise workflows and processes to create clear and concise visual representations of complex processes to others.
- Review the existing service delivery (through existing Service Level Agreements (if any)) and look to refine or create new Service Level Agreements to manage and monitor performance outcomes.
- Provide high level subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding complex products, services, and measures to reduce operational reporting of task numbers.
- Collaborate with all Customer Finance teams to unify and automate disparate reporting across the division.
- Review systems and processes ensuring internal control and operational risk environment is sound.

Further details:
7.25 Hours/day - 36.25 Hour working week.
