Lead / Senior Front End Developer

Are you an experienced developer with a passion for leading a development team? We offer a chance to join our team as a Lead / Senior Front End Developer working on Veikkaus' digital channels product. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our team develops and maintains Veikkaus’ digital channels, i.e., website and mobile app — the biggest online consumer store in Finland, offering a wide range of games and gaming products with safe, responsible, and innovative gaming experiences. In the lead developer’s role, you will be at the core of creating the future of these services and products.

In this role, the focus is on developing a modern web service in agile teams. Our teams consist of developers, designers, testers, data analysts, and product as well as game experts. Multidisciplinary teams enable learning across technological boundaries. We use analytics in service development, conduct continuous A/B testing, develop machine learning software, and deploy changes to production daily. We value a professional approach and a relaxed yet efficient work environment.

Technologies and products we use include, but are not limited to: TypeScript, React, Remeda, Zustand, GraphQL, React Query/Tanstack Query, i18next, Node.js, Gitlab, pnpm, jest / vitest, Cypress

The role is based in Helsinki, at the headquarters of Veikkaus. Veikkaus prefers a flexible hybrid work model between a remote workplace and an office.
