Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be improving financial reporting and transaction history platforms. Your work will involve structuring data models, extending charting framework, and integrating valuable insights into product suite. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of a web-based transaction history portal for merchant customers.

• 3 Month contract with an innovative organisation
• Hybrid working arrangement - WFH/Office

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software solutions for either the merchant insights reporting platform or the merchant payments portal.
• Work across the full stack, with a focus on backend development using Node.js and Typescript, and frontend development using React, Next.js, and Vue.js.
• Ensure seamless integration with AWS infrastructure, utilising DynamoDB and Redshift as data sources.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Maintain GitHub repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Quickly adapt to their development environment and start contributing from day one.

Tech Stack & Skills Required

• Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue.js (for Insights reporting)
• Backend: Fastify, Node.js, Typescript
• Infrastructure: AWS (DynamoDB, Redshift), Terraform
• Version Control: GitHub
• Strong experience with web-based applications and full-cycle engineering
• Prior experience in financial services or a similar regulated industry (preferred but not required).
