Context

In this role, you’ll help lead innovation in machine-learning techniques for driving and vehicle monitoring. You’ll be responsible for creating a machine-learning model that monitors and analyses time series data in real-time. As part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate and optimize the model. Expertise

• Expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including familiarity with classical algorithms
• Knowledge of foundation models, including large vision models and multi-modal models
• Experience with time series analysis (experience with large real-time data is a plus)
• (Preferred) Experience in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying deep neural networks in practical applications
• (Preferred) Experience in integrating algorithms and conducting testing in real-world settings (e.g., embedded devices and cloud infrastructure)

Technical

• Proficient in Python, with additional knowledge of C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong expertise in PyTorch (experience with PyTorch Forecasting and TensorRT is a plus)
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn (experience with SKTime and Darts is a bonus)
• Skilled in Linux, Docker, and Git
• Experienced in working with Linux environments and High-Performance Computing (HPC), preferably with AWS and Azure
• (Optional) Experience with embedded architecture, specifically Nvidia Jetson

Tasks

• Design, assess, and refine algorithms from the time series literature
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in foundation models and time series analysis
• Implement algorithms and manage the code repository
• Work closely with researchers and engineers to train, test, and evaluate the model
• Develop and support demonstrations with real systems and prepare for field tests
• Present findings during regular project meetings and prepare results for publication
