C++ Engineer

R Systems is searching for an experienced Senior C/C++ Engineer to join our team of innovators!

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing systems, as well as the creation of innovative software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with other software engineers, program managers, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions within expected timeframes.

Your Contribution

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
• Provide technical support to project team members.
• Lead and direct the work of others, providing consultation on complex projects.
• Exhibit a high degree of creativity and latitude in your work.
• Maintain a professional attitude throughout all development stages, excelling as a team member.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Observe deadlines and strive to exceed expectations.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating work plans and schedules; generate task lists for engineers as needed.
• Conduct task analysis and work estimations; identify dependencies and risks.
• Provide technical direction for tasks and input on code design and architecture.
• Employ proper programming techniques, documentation, testing, and review processes.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of programming outputs on a daily basis.
• Establish methods to maintain code quality across the company.

• Proven expertise in a variety of software engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to use extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in C/C++ and an advanced understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Advanced understanding of software design paradigms and best practices in day-to-day tasks.
