We are partnered with a multinational pharmaceutical company in the Midlands (hybrid schedule - ideally 3 days per week onsite). This company are looking for a HR Project Manager to come in for a 6-month (potential for extension) timeframe, working 40 hours per week.


Job Summary: The HR Project Manager will take ownership of a variety of HR-related initiatives, ensuring they are effectively planned, executed, and completed within set timelines. This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure alignment with company objectives while serving as a bridge between HR and other business functions.


Core Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Design project plans, establish timelines, and manage budgets for HR-related programs.
  • Work alongside HR leadership and key stakeholders to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Provide regular updates on project progress, potential risks, and key challenges to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings and presentations to keep all parties informed and involved.
  • Foster strong relationships across departments to manage expectations effectively.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to refine and enhance HR processes using industry best practices.
  • Track project performance and make necessary adjustments to drive continuous improvement.

Change Management Support:

  • Guide and implement change management strategies for HR initiatives.
  • Develop communication plans to ensure seamless transitions during project rollouts.
  • Deliver training and support to employees and leadership throughout project implementation.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure HR projects meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Generate and present reports, performance metrics, and project documentation for senior leadership.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate success and pinpoint areas for further development.


Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR project management, HR business partnering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on talent management and organizational design.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to shifting project priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
