Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and at least one other modern programming language (e.g., Java).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with large databases.
• Familiarity with Git, DevOps, Terraform, container technologies, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with software development concepts for large applications and architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, monoliths).
• A team player who thrives in agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with Vue.js and Node.js development.
• Knowledge of using AWS or other hyperscalers for containerized applications.
• A qualification in software architecture (e.g., iSAQB) and expertise in software design patterns.
  
  

Responsibilities

As a Coffee IQ Software Engineer (m/f/d) in our Bucharest office, you'll join the Engineering Retail Platforms team, which designs processes and innovations for over 20,000 professional coffee machines in B2B operations. You'll play a key role in developing and operating the CoffeeIQ (CIQ) platform--an intelligent portal for managing and optimizing B2B coffee machines.

• End-to-End Development : Build and maintain the Vue.js frontend, Node.js backend, and MS SQL database, including cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Code Excellence : Write clean, high-quality code and ensure application performance through TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Innovation : Dedicate creative time to projects that interest you during each iteration.
• Collaboration : Work alongside experienced developers from other teams to share knowledge and grow together.
