UX/ UI Designer

Our client is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their team for the next 6 months. This will likely extend. It is fulltime hours per week, and onsite 2x per week in Downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

- You will be working on online banking assets.

- You will be working alongside an email design and specialized document delivery team to create outstanding digital experiences.

- This role requires both Visual Design and UX Design expertise and you will be involved from concept creation to design delivery with minimum guidance.

- You will create digital experiences that are thoughtful, compelling and meet marketing strategies and business goals

- You will participate in observational studies, usability testing and other user research

- You will design and create reusable components in Figma.

- You will help build robust email Design System.

- You will provide detailed specifications to developers.

- You will actively contribute to the Design system library

What is needed:

- 4 years of experience designing interactive experiences (or equivalent work experience)

- Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design

- Passion for creating simple and stunning visual design solutions

- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and UX tools

- Fundamental understanding of responsive web design and mobile application design

- Experience working with financial products, and in an Agile environment
