Software Engineer

I am currently searching for a number of Software Engineers (payroll) for a client of mine in the Flemish region.

A leading software company specializing in data and machine learning. Due to rapid growth, the company is seeking ambitious and enthusiastic professionals to join the team.

Role Overview:

The company is looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers to enhance developer processes and tooling, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and automation across the SaaS platform, Edge environment, and cloud infrastructure. This role involves driving development-to-deployment improvements and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain operational features for SaaS and Edge environments.
• Architect cloud solutions and hybrid strategies for on-premises and cloud communication.
• Ensure high availability, security best practices, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Provide guidance on Kubernetes-based solutions and develop microservices.
• Develop API integration tools and optimize database queries.
• Implement monitoring solutions and proactively resolve incidents.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new cloud-native technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, SaaS, and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, and Java EE (Python is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, Docker, and automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and backup/recovery solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
