Job Description:
Essential duties:
- Design, implement, and manage complex Cisco network solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of wireless networks to support seamless connectivity across the organization.
- Manage and secure network firewalls to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Lead network architecture planning and design initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements, especially during M&A activities.
- Integrate and standardize network infrastructures during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless connectivity and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network performance and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technologies, with a focus on Palo Alto SD-WAN.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Proven experience with wireless network solutions and firewall management.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto SD-WAN technologies is highly preferred.
- Experience in network integration and standardization during M&A activities.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
