Front End Developer

One of our Federal government clients is seeking to engage Front End Developer.

Role: Front End Developer

Location of work: Canberra / Melbourne / Brisbane / Hobart (be onsite for first 6 months, thereaftre work 3 days from office and 2 days from home each week)

Length of contract: 03 Months

Contract extensions: upto 12 Months extension

Security Clearance: Citizen

Overview:

Software Engineers write and test code, optimise software for speed and capability, evaluate and test new software, design and maintain software systems under limited supervision.

Software Engineers are also known as Senior Developers.

Senior Developers design, create, test and document new and amended software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes.

Key duties and responsibilities

Duties may include some or all of the following:

• Front-End Development: Creating and enhancing user interfaces for web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Frameworks and Libraries: Utilizing JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as node.js to build dynamic and responsive web applications.
• Collaboration: Working closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Code Optimization: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while optimizing performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Testing and Debugging: Conducting thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and performance standards are met
• Version Control: Using version control systems like Git to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
• Documentation: Documenting code, processes, and best practices to ensure transparency and reproducibility
