Backend Developer

Forza Clubs is looking for experienced Elixir Backend Developers to join our talented team 👯‍♂️

About The Position

We're seeking talented Elixir Backend Developers to work on high-load distributed systems that handle thousands of clients simultaneously. You'll be working on the backend that powers our high-volume mobile applications, delivering a steady stream of new features while helping us to further improve the scalability and reliability of our platform.

Responsibilities

You'll work with a small, talented team of developers and designers, including access to an Elixir Core team member, dedicated to building top-tier products for users worldwide.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and implement scalable systems to support our white label solution.
• Develop and maintain APIs while optimizing performance for seamless user experiences.
• Ensure security best practices and collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to bring innovative features to life.
• Contribute to empowering creators by developing tools that help them build and manage their platforms effectively.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Elixir and OTP, with applications deployed in production environments
• Interest in building highly available, resilient, and scalable systems
• Strong craftsmanship with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and comprehensive testing
• Knowledge of caching strategies, message queues, and service-oriented architectures
• Understanding of infrastructure setup and Linux server management
• Experience with deployment tooling, monitoring, alerting, data visualization, load testing, and live system debugging
• Strong understanding of SQL, including profiling and building efficient queries
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Proficiency in English, as Forza Clubs operates globally

• Experience with LiveView and Terraform
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and deployment pipelines
• Team leading experience is a plus
