Technical Product Manager (Payments/Open Banking)

We’re currently looking for a Product Manager – Global Expansion to lead the growth of our Account-to-Account payments proposition into new markets. Right now, we are looking for a Product Manager who will take responsibility for successfully expanding our Payment proposition into a new market.

What you will do:

• Global expansion is tasked with broadening the availability of our Account-to-Account payments platform to new geographic locations. Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Bridge the gap between the in-market team and the global engineering team.
• Together with the in-market team, conduct market research for your markets to become the product expert.
• Work closely with key customers in your markets and figure out what is needed to make them successful
• Translate local requirements and customer needs into detailed product requirements compatible with the global platform
• Together with the Engineering Manager, take part in and run the team's day-to-day activities, such us retros, refinements and plannings.
• Work closely with adjacent product teams to adapt their services to support market requirements
• Work side by side with your team members, other product teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient ways of working and alignment across the whole organization.
• Prototype, ship and optimize performance through hypothesis testing
• Ensure timely execution of milestones to meet launch target

What we look for:

• 5+ years of product management experience at a technology company, creating strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch while working with cross-functional teams.
• You are comfortable managing complex technical requirements, such as APIs and other platform components
• Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with groups, brokering trade-offs with stakeholders, and understanding their needs.
• You like to work with Engineers and have teamed up with an Engineering Manager to deliver product to market in the past
• Agile, outcome and data-driven.
• You have strong analytical and logical problem solving skills.
• You are a self-starter and have a ‘can do’ attitude, you make things happen.
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Nice to have: you have knowledge of (or interest for) the financial technology domain - it’s a plus if you are familiar with Open banking/PSD2. Previous experience working with payments products is meriting
• This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
