Position title: Technical Consultant / Payment System Expert – Cards Agile

Job Purpose:
Understanding of the banking and financial domain is an essential requirement for this role w.r.t payment systems specifically for POS terminals, Acquiring systems, credit card systems and other related systems. The responsibilities include handling projects related items, CRs and support of test system specifically for Credit Card Systems, Payment schemes, and other connected systems running in Bank under Payment system domain. Resource must have worked experience on TSYS PRIME switch but not limited to carry out end-to-end development and configuration of payment system application including all the sub modules, API Module, Credit card integration with other systems, and other locally deployed modules. Resource also responsible to develop internal modules and procedures to support in-house capabilities and will report to cards Agile development lead.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Payment Systems Expert is responsible for development, changes, and implementation and testing for Credit Cards/POS acquiring application (TSYS) and its interfaces with 3rd party system (internal / external).
- Handling of Cards Agile development (PRIME), CRs and support production fixes on
- test system, maintain test system w.r.t payment system compliance changes and etc for Credit card system (TSYS).
- Technical testing including Regression testing, Implementation Support, technical
- Certifications with Visa/MasterCard & CBO.
- Assist business in completing UAT.
- Technical lead on Assigned projects.
- Support Performance testing, ISO testing and other internal / external testing.
- Maintain architecture documents for various systems including debit cards, instance issuance, GL Reconciliation and other payment related systems.
- Participate in business requirements and design phase of Projects and CRs.
- Lead technical design for assigned tasks pertaining to Projects and CRs.
- Implementation of CRs related to the Payment Systems by doing internal development wherever possible.
- Coordinating with different vendors to fix problems or implement changes when
- Necessary and do escalation whenever required for Projects/CRs.
- Implement new projects and enhancements related to POS Acquiring & Credit card issuing.
- Implementation of Payment system releases changes as part of periodic Compliance changes including system upgrades.
- Perform certifications with Visa & MasterCard with sound background on Visa/MasterCard simulators.
Non-Functional Requirements
- Resource will use bank IT department’s methodology for the Software
- Development Life Cycle. This will result in the team maintaining the original
- requirements as well as enhancements of any application that is developed in[1]house.
- Resource will also be responsible for integrating upgrades released by any third
- party applications under the guidance of the domain manager.
- Must co-ordinate with the respective domain manager’s in resolving issues and
- disputes that may arise as part of support.
- To make sure that regular updates on progress are conveyed to the respective
- domain manager and business community
- To make sure that high quality deliverables and work products are provided and
- Meet commitments for the schedule.
- To make sure team working under his supervision able to produce maximum
- results and provide proper reporting to track progress of issues / changes.
Qualification of professional knowledge and skills:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or IT
- Essential: 13+ year’s hands-on experience in Payment scheme including 7+ experience and 6 years of Experience in MasterCard.
- Internal development after reviewing the change scope for which vendor engagement is not required.
- Coordination /Discussion with TSYS to prepare SON for all Change requests.
- Preparation of SIT scripts and coordinate/help business to finalize UAT Script's.
- Preparation of all system environments which are require for projects/BDM like UAT, SIT, Development.
- Preparation of SOP documents to smoothly handover any new project/CRF to operational team after go-live.
- Provide support to the operational team on critical issues.
- A portfolio of work experience in business and technical areas, experience in system analysis, design review and maintenance of various applications in Card and payment industry.
- Strong experience in reviewing the scope of requirement, documenting the complete requirement details, formulating the effort estimations along with client and other stakeholders. Expertise in ISO 8583 messages, SWIFT, ONLINE Switch.
- Providing frontline support to the client to meet their business need, regular communication with the client on their existing system issues.
- Directly engaged with the client as primary point of contact for the process documentation, train the users, test and troubleshoot functionality of the systems installed, incident and tickets management and resolution by engaging the technical team.
- Assisting the client with configuration plan, analyzing the data like Cards, products, statements, reconciliations, 3rd party interfaces etc).
- Also involved in assisting the client onsite. Helping client configuration, testing and providing solution or bug fixes as a part of seamless BAU support to the client.
- Managing quarterly payment scheme compliance strategies, plan, delivery and provide support for effective implementation by the client.
