Senior Analyst - IT Business Applications

Job Purpose:

The Job holder will play a key role in multiple strategic initiatives, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to engage with senior business stakeholders, and the technical expertise to collaborate effectively with the IT team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users to gather and document detailed business requirements (BRD).

• Conduct in-depth analysis to understand project needs, objectives, and constraints.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with IT solutions.

• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.

• Monitor, identify, and resolve application performance issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly and accurately.

• Maintain and update system documentation and logs.

• Work closely with vendors to implement system enhancements and upgrades.

• Assist in the rollout of software updates, patches, and change management processes.

• Provide feedback on existing applications, suggesting improvements based on user experience and observations.

• Document known issues and resolutions, maintaining a knowledge base for future reference.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience & Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years experience in the financial industry.
• Proven experience working on multiple IT/Business projects as a Business Analyst, involved in the end-to-end project lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in data migration projects, particularly transitioning from legacy systems to new systems.
