Network Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimize our network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and security. Join one of CDH's top clients and contribute to critical network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain LAN infrastructure, including firewalls, Cisco switches, access points, and cabling.
• VoIP & CCTV Management: Oversee and support the VoIP system (MITEL) and CCTV network (OMNICAST) to ensure smooth operation.
• Access Control: Maintain and manage access control systems to protect network security.
• Incident Analysis & Resolution: Analyze and resolve network-related incidents and customer complaints, identifying areas for improvement.
• Documentation & Inventory: Keep technical documentation and network inventories up to date.
• Project Participation: Contribute to network infrastructure projects, collaborating with internal teams.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in managing network infrastructure within a large organization.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Cisco technologies (CCNP certification is a plus).
• VoIP & Unified Communications: Hands-on experience with MITEL VoIP systems.
• ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL methodologies for service management.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a customer-focused approach.
• Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
