Senior Scala Engineer with ZIO

📍 Location: remote from Europe.

We're looking for developers with practical knowledge of Scala & ZIO. By joining our team, you'll become part of a project in the cyber intelligence industry. You'll be developing high-volume data engineering products, dealing with various data sources, developing both client-facing APIs and data processing systems, and building large-scale projects from scratch. The role drives the development of high-throughput data processing and visualization software running on a cloud platform.

Must-haves In The Technology Stack

• At least 4 years of Scala experience.
• Professional experience with Scala modern functional stack like Cats, Cats Effect, ZIO.
• Hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or S3
  
  

For this position, you'll also need to have solid experience with:

• Experience with microservice architecture, writing REST APIs, developing using docker containers or Kubernetes.
• Understanding test driven development.

Salary

16 050 - 24 000 PLN net/month on B2B (or equivalent currency in USD/EUR)

The compensation will depend on your experience and skill set, with opportunities for growth as you develop. You can expect regular, open discussions to ensure transparency. For candidates in Poland, an employment contract option is also available.
