Key Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and monitor a range of client security tools including HSMs, PAM, SIEM, and Firewall solutions, ensuring consistent operational effectiveness and compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.
- Provide technical guidance to improve and maintain the security of client IT platforms and infrastructure.
- Monitor security systems and logs to detect and respond swiftly to incidents or anomalies.
- Perform detailed analysis of security incidents, identify root causes, and propose effective remediation strategies.
- Regularly review and update IT security policies and procedures to ensure alignment with client needs, industry standards, and best practices.
- Mentor IT operations staff on security fundamentals and support the development of a security knowledge roadmap.
- Stay up-to-date with modern security threats, tools, and best practices to proactively protect information security.
- Automate processes and procedures related to IT security infrastructure management.
- Adhere to incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security and configuration best practices across all activities.
- Complete all deliverables accurately and within deadlines.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents, working toward permanent resolutions.
- Maintain technical documentation of all processes and procedures using Confluence.
- Be available for on-call and after-hours work when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant industry certifications.
- Expertise in at least one cybersecurity product or offering, with experience leading cybersecurity teams.
- Proven experience in complex, diverse technology environments, particularly in the financial sector.
- Experience in implementing, configuring, and managing SIEM and PAM tools (preferably LogRhythm, Delina, and CyberArk) for enterprise-level, highly available solutions.
- Proficiency in working with HSMs, particularly Entrust or Thales.
- Experience managing firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity practices and compliance requirements, especially in the banking and finance sectors.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to forward-plan and see the bigger picture.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
