Assignment
As part of the development of our electronic systems, our client offers to participate in the analysis, evaluation, design and validation of new software components as part of the construction of a generic software framework for integration into its future products.

- Development of embedded applications

Activities/Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of embedded systems
- Analyze functional needs and formalize requirements
- Carry out architectural analysis of software solutions
- Develop the software solution
- Participate in the development of systems integration and validation plans and their implementation
- Document the software solution (design justification, analysis description documents, etc.)
- Apply current development standards and methodologies throughout the design of software components
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies in the field of embedded software development
Profile
- Essential
- Bachelor/master in computer science or electronics
- +5 years of professional experience in embedded systems design in C and C++
- Good knowledge of current development methodologies (Agile, V Cycle, etc.)
- Knowledge of software development best practices and standards
- Knowledge in the field of unit testing
- Knowledge of software architectures
- Experience with POSIX API
- Easy oral and written expression in French and English
- Work with rigor, proactivity and autonomy
- Work within a given schedule, deadlines and budget
- Have good analytical skills, critical thinking and good judgment
- Be able to work in a team
- Assets
- Experience in cybersecurity related aspects
- Knowledge of the OpenCV library
- Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN bus, Serial, ...)
- Knowledge of network/ethernet stacks and the DDS standard
- Having developed Linux drivers
- Having worked on RTOS systems
- Having worked with the Qt framework
- Having worked with the Atlassian suite (Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo, ...)
- Knowledge of development standards related to the defense sector or equivalent
- Have previously worked in the defense sector or equivalent
