We are seeking a Sr SAP Project Office Manager who will be fully focused on managing and driving activities related to the shERPa procedures. This role will involve overseeing PMO governance, ensuring integration with other IT and business governance bodies, and managing the overall program and project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive oversight on various aspects of projects governance, including schedule management, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and resource allocation.
This is a long-term contract based in Brussels, Belgium, with a hybrid working model (2 days remote). The candidate must be based in Belgium and be fluent in English, Dutch and French.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee PMO governance, ensuring alignment with IT and business frameworks.
- Ensure projects are governed effectively, with clear timelines and adherence to schedule.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with project goals.
- Manage information flow, decision-making, and validation processes to ensure smooth execution.
- Define and clarify program and project roles and responsibilities for all team members.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Oversee value realization and ensure benefits are delivered as expected.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage changes in scope, time, and budget, ensuring successful implementation.
- Ensure service delivery and project outcomes meet quality standards.
- Oversee budget allocation and financial tracking for all projects.
- Manage both internal and external resources to meet project needs.
- Ensure smooth project closure, transferring knowledge and transitioning to the standard IT organization.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- +5 years experience in Program and Project Management of company-wide ERP implementation projects
- +5 years experience in setting up a large Program Management Office
- Extensive knowledge of IT4IT processes and their application in IT organizations.
- Strong skills in MS365 applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Excellent communication abilities at all levels within an organization.
- Confidence and ability to perform well under pressure and stressful conditions.
- Adaptable and able to respond to new guidelines, rules, and procedures.
- A self-starter and creative thinker with the ability to quickly find solutions to complex challenges.
- Highly efficient, well-organized, and constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Eager to learn and proactive in discovering new ideas and technologies.
