User Experience (UX) Designer (Contract/Freelance)

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Freelance User Experience Designer to join their central UX team. This team provides essential UX services for developing digital applications used primarily by internal teams. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, following the UX Design process to enhance the user experience of digital applications across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideation & Workshops: Prepare and facilitate ideation workshops, fostering innovative and user-centered design solutions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create detailed low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that effectively guide development teams.
• User Testing: Organize, facilitate, and document user testing sessions to validate design decisions and improve usability.
• Design Governance: Analyze, implement, and monitor UX design standards and governance to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with team leads and project managers to align on project goals, report progress, and address any UX-related needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• UX Experience: At least 5 years in a similar UX design role with expertise in UX research, analysis, and design.
• Agile Environment: Proven experience working within an Agile environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively.
• Large-Scale Projects: Experience working in large companies and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems/toolkits for Android and iOS.
• Web & Mobile Design: Strong background in designing for both web and mobile applications.
• Material Design: Familiarity with Material Design principles.
• Workshop Facilitation: Ability to organize and lead workshops (prior experience in workshop facilitation is a plus).

Practical Information
