Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: Anderlecht, Belgium (Hybrid)

Duration: ASAP - Till end of 2024 + possible extension

Department:

• We are looking for a Senior IT Project manager within the program and project management department who manages one or more projects within Mutual IT.
• The IT Project manager will manage different type of projects within an infrastructure environment (Windows upgrade, rad hat, interfaces,) and will ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline & budget.
• The IT Project Manager will mainly interact with internal teams & departments. The focus is on the PM-skills rather than a strong technical background.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:

• Prepare the project plan for the assigned project(s)
• Ensuring that the projects delivery is made according to the schedule, budget, scope and quality.
• Ensure Governance and Prepare the Steerco with the relevant stakeholders
• Define timeline and mile stones of the project.
• Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery.
• Clarifying high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects.
• Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.
• Managing a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
• Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations.
• Prepare Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager and/or the relevant stakeholders.

Secondary Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
• Deploy and develop active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
• Conflict management (tech and non-tech).
• Facilitate the operational functionality of the project groups and other stakeholders.
• Define the roles and responsibilities of the project teams and other stakeholders.
• Follow-up on possible change and deliverables-related feedback from the customer on a continuous basis.

Technical profile requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
• +5 years’ experience in Project Management in the IT Sector (in application development, JAVA environments)
• Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure & Development environments
• Agile minded.
• Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equal by experience
