Job Title: Inside Sales Project Manager


Location: Brussels Metropolitan Area


Reports to: Customer Service Manager


Role Responsibilities:


  • This position will focus on supporting the after sales services (spare parts, support services, audit) for the business' various engineering business lines.
  • The overall objective is to ensure on-time delivery of projects per customer needs, preparing offers and working with the sales manager responsible for the assigned territory.
  • The supply base is global.
  • There may be a responsibility to take on other projects for colleagues in other areas on an ad hoc basis.
  • As a very multidisciplinary role, there is a need to liaise with other departments, including engineering, purchasing, etc., to provide technical and logistical support.
  • To find the best deal in line with customer expectations and business needs, you will negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best price for the offer.
  • While not the most outbound position, you will be expected to monitor, manage and execute purchase orders in a timely fashion to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • With this in mind, you will provide status and project progress updates to the customer and internally to support company development.


Key Qualities:


  • You should have a master or bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, or have 2+ years experience in a technico-commercial position.
  • You should come from a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • You should have some experience/exposure to inside sales/after sales.
  • To liaise effectively with engineers, you will need the ability to read and interpret 3D and 2D technical drawings.
  • Although you will receive support from the Customer Service Manager, you will need to be a self-driven team player, proactive, and hands-on.
  • You will need good communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to coordinate interdepartmentally and negotiate with suppliers to meet deadlines.
  • The Inside Sales Project Manager will have an analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent English language knowledge is a must.
  • The role can be performed hybrid with the preference for 4 days in office after joining with a view towards 3 days in office once integrated and settled.
