Are you a Site Reliability Engineer who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges? Their software powers detailed manufacturing instructions, collects real-time data, and runs seamlessly on-premise or in the cloud.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of DevOps, you’ll be the backbone of system reliability, performance, and efficiency. Your mission? Integrate software engineering with IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and scalability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and optimizing internal tools to boost system performance, monitoring, and automation
- Working closely with software engineers to enhance metrics, logging, and tracing across the stack
- Designing and deploying scalable solutions, including Terraform modules and Kubernetes configurations
- Migrating services between architectures with minimal disruption
- Streamlining deployment through automated CI/CD pipelines
- Proactively identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing automated solutions
- Documenting complex systems to support development and customer success teams
What You Need to Bring
- Experience within a development role, ideally with SRE or DevOps exposure
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Familiarity with containerization (ECS, Kubernetes – desirable)
- Strong documentation skills for complex systems
- Understanding of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo
- Proficiency in multiple coding languages (C#, TypeScript, Golang, etc.)
- Any exposure to manufacturing environments or LEAN methodologies is a plus!
