We seek a Java Backend Developer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.

*For this position you need to have residency in Lisbon.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Main Tasks:

Develop and maintain backend services

- Design, implement and maintain scalable and efficient backend features using Java

Code quality and testing

- Write clean and maintainable code

- Ensure code performance, scalability, and reliability respecting the agreed best practices

- Implement unit, integration, and performance testing

Collaboration and Agile development

- Work closely with frontend devs, business analysts, and testers

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

API and Services development and integration

- Design and develop APIs

- Design and develop (micro)services using Java Spring frameworks

Database Management

- Write/maintain efficient queries

- Migration from database procedures to Java code

Technical skills:

• JAVA programming and frameworks (Java 8+, Spring, …)
• Testing (Junit, Testcontainers, Mockito, …) and code quality (SonarQube, …)
• Versions control and agile development (Git, GitLab, Agile/Scrum, …)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, …)
• API Development (RESTful APIs, Swagger, …)
• English
