Your new role

• Stay updated on cybersecurity policies, principles, and controls from frameworks such as the Attorney General's Department Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), and Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
  
• Collaborate with MRC project teams to conduct cybersecurity tasks, analyse and apply principles, regulatory requirements, and standards during system development and sustainment phases. Develop practical and economical cyber-worthy solutions and review peers' work.
• Prepare and maintain project GRC artifacts, C&A document packs for certifying authorities, and facilitate security risk assessments (SRAs). Perform functional decomposition of security requirements and modelling of solutions.
• Plan and implement activities across the Vulnerability Management lifecycle, including discovery, prioritisation, assessment, remediation (patch management), and security report preparation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Exposure to PSPF, DSPF or the ISM
• NV1/NV2 Clearance
  
• Strong understanding of GRC frameworks
  
• Previous experience in IT Risk and Audit
