Software Director - Slots & Roulettes

This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge gaming products. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills to drive innovation, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver world-class gaming experiences. This position will oversee teams located in Slovenia and Barcelona, ensuring their effective performance and alignment with organizational goals.

The role reports directly to the CEO, providing updates and strategic input to support the company’s vision and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the software development strategy for the slots and roulette division.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project roadmaps and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of software engineers, and QA specialists.
• Ensure the team has the resources and skills needed to succeed.
• Ensure all software complies with local and international gaming regulations.
• Oversee and manage teams based in Sežana and Barcelona, ensuring effective collaboration, productivity, and alignment with company objectives.
• Work closely with compliance teams to maintain certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Direct the design, development, and deployment of gaming software, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in the gaming market.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Align the division's goals with the company's broader business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in the gaming industry, specifically with IGaming, slots, and roulette software, is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of gaming software development, and 3D/2D graphics technologies.
• Exceptional decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.Solid understanding of gaming trends, player behavior, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong command of programming languages and frameworks such as C#, C++, and graphic engine.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
