Devops Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to contribute to our cloud infrastructure and systems administration processes. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in deploying and maintaining systems in a multi-platform hybrid environment and will be able to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Your contributions will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our advanced analytics platform and image recognition solutions using AI technology and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and support complex infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Manage and maintain Linux based server environments (RedHat, Ubuntu)
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support network infrastructure including load balancers, reverse proxies, API and security gateways
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows.

Required Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Strong experience with Linux (RedHat 6-9, Ubuntu 16-22).
• Knowledge of Splunk deployment and support is a big plus.
• Familiarity with hypervisors, particularly VMware, and knowledge of KVM and VNC.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies, including Docker and Docker Compose.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, including automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins; knowledge of Terraform and Groovy is advantageous.
• Familiarity with databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Experience with network technologies, such as Nginx, Traefic, Tomcat and others
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Bash; Python knowledge will be considered an asset.
