Full-Stack Developer

Company Overview: Masonry Group is a company specializing in creating innovative solutions for the construction industry in North America. We are in the process of developing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system tailored specifically for the construction sector. As we scale, we seek an experienced and self-motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our team and take ownership of the product development.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with strong Node.js backend expertise and leadership potential to help us re-develop our ERP platform from scratch. Your main focus will be creating a robust and scalable multi-tenant architecture for a SaaS product.

Key Responsibilities

• Rebuild and optimize the entire software system from scratch, ensuring scalability and flexibility for a SaaS model.
• Work independently, taking full ownership of backend architecture and the overall tech stack using Node.js.
• Setup scalable software architecture, ensuring smooth integration with the frontend.
• Lead the development of new features, setting up a development roadmap and managing sprints.
• Manage development using GitHub for version control across multiple environments (staging, development, and production).
• Actively engage in daily communication to ensure the team is aligned and any blockers are addressed quickly.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in backend development with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with frontend technologies such as React.js and JavaScript.
• Experience in building and deploying scalable multi-tenant architectures.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud services, particularly Amazon AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and setting up development environments for SaaS products.
• Strong experience with GitHub and version control.
• Proven experience working independently and leading development projects from scratch (e.g., CRM, ERP systems)
  
  

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Prior experience with PHP is beneficial (due to the legacy code).
• Experience in building complex dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of SaaS architectures and best practices.
• Ability to manage or contribute to DevOps and deployment pipelines.
