83zero is partnered with a leading software development company who are seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy and innovation for their diverse clients, ranging from startups to mid + size companies. They are looking for someone who is 50% tech expert and 50% public-facing leader - a visionary who can consult organizations, helping them navigate technological challenges and opportunities.

Role Overview:

This Chief Technology Officer role is crucial in guiding the team as they continue to drive the client’s EU expansion by researching and advising on the latest software solutions, ensuring that customers stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in shaping the product roadmap through hands-on involvement in project planning and execution.
• Define and maintain technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment through solution assessments and change management.
• Support new business development by collaborating with the demand team to provide technical guidance on design and strategy.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• 3+ years’ experience mentoring and supporting senior technology teams
• Proven success in developing and executing technical strategy and leadership.
• Proven experience consulting startups to mid+ size organisations
• Strong interest in DevOps and Cloud technologies, with experience in advisory or implementation.
• Experience in one of few of the following – Java, Kotlin, Go, NodeJS, Python/Django, JavaScript
• Ability to independently solve complex technical and business challenges.
• Fluency in German and English language skills is essential
