DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Our platform enables the software and cloud service businesses of household names like Atea and Lenovo, Copaco.

As a DevOps engineer at AppXite, you won’t be dealing with an on-premises environment, our application operates entirely in the cloud (Azure) with the exception of a few microservices. We are implementing IaC approach and automate everything as much as possible, we use CI-CD practices and Azure DevOps for CI tool.

We envision each of our employees as stakeholders, so you will be responsible for driving the collaboration with other members of the engineering team to find the best methods for solving problems and securing the quality and usability of our product.

What you would do as a DevOps Engineer:

• Improving cloud infrastructure operations in collaboration with software developers.
• Design, implement and manage the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (using VSTS and other tools).
• Microsoft Azure (and other cloud services) resource governance - subscription planning, access control, cost, and performance analysis.
• Plan and execute migration to newer solution.
• Working on automating task, develop and maintain company's existing cloud infrastructure.
• Implement modern tools and best practices.
• Troubleshooting operational issues.
• Documenting your work in a clear and precise manner.

What do we look for:

• 4+ years of DevOps experience.
• Experience managing and automating Application Infrastructure (Azure Cloud services and Windows infrastructure).
• Azure DevOps (boards, repos, CI/CD pipeline, artifact).
• Knowledge and experience working with automated processes and infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge and experience with virtualization and cloud services.
• PowerShell or programming language knowledge (C# or other).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube alternative tools.
• Linux's knowledge/experience and scripting skills.
• Postman experience.
• Microsoft (or other) certifications. 
• Ability to make quick decisions, align priorities and execute tasks.
• You make things work by coming up with solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
