BioLamina is looking for an Administrative HR Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-paced HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent university graduate eager to gain firsthand HR experience or for someone who has followed a shorter educational path, gained a few years of work experience, and is now looking to expand their skills in a broad HR role. The position is set to begin in August 2025.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and create on-boarding schedules for new hires.
  • Keep track of new hires and provide information to other departments.
  • Assist with visa applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries in the HR email inbox daily.
  • Support payroll preparations for our outsourced payroll provider.
  • Monitor employee absences and work schedules.
  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Assist with interview scheduling and recruitment-related bookings.
  • Support the development of HR handbooks.
  • Perform various ad hoc tasks as needed.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, or
  • Higher Vocational Education (YH Education) in Administration or HR, with at least 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant (or similar role), or
  • Upper secondary school diploma (3-year Gymnasium Education) in Economics, Business, or Administration, with at least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant (or similar role).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Swedish.

Key qualifications include high organizational abilities, a knack for multitasking, and the capability to prioritize effectively. The successful applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems as needed.

A high level of discretion is essential, especially when overseeing sensitive information. We are looking for someone with an initiative-taking, hands-on mindset who is willing to take on any task, no matter how small, and has a strong desire to learn. The ideal candidate will also be a team player with a strong sense of dedication and a great sense of humor.
