AEROSPACE PROJECT MANAGER
Job Requirements:
The Aerospace Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects within the Polish Aerospace Business Unit are delivered on time and within Project boundaries. The role involves working closely with team cells in the U.S., UK and Poland, extracting, analyzing, and organizing data into user-friendly formats to support the various projects. This hybrid position blends Project Management with Data Analytics, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and on the customers site when needed.
The ideal candidate should have an exceptional command of the English language, advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to travel when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Project Management and Production Planning support for various OEM sites and suppliers across Poland and Europe.
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work with other program/project managers and team leaders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
- Develop positive working relationships with engineers, buyers, and program management teams at both OEM and within Quest Global.
- Use advanced IT skills to cleanse, structure, and analyse raw data, improving team reporting and decision-making.
- Managing the program’s budget; Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements; Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies; Managing and utilizing resources across projects
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Good knowledge of the machine purchase and understanding the machine specification requirement for the transformational projects Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Managing stakeholders’ communication; Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” and managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Project and Aerospace Management, Production Planning, Quality, or Operations.
- Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, Assembly, Machining) and Lean methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Involvement in HR activities, such as team development, performance management, and resource planning.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and travel as needed.
- Prior aerospace industry experience preferred.
- 5+ years in a management role /manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
