Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team located (location).

As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and deployment.
• Collaborate on the design and development of the appropriate solution with client lead and/or project Architect.
• Write clean, well-structured, and documented Kotlin code with a focus on readability and maintainability.
• Ensure implementation, and deployment is done following best practices and client standards
• Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories.
• Conduct code audits and reviews as required.
• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to identify and resolve issues.
• Serve as a senior member of the team and mentor junior resources. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client.
• Participate in the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning
• Independently manage assigned tasks.
• Attend sprint planning, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the project lead.
  
  

Qualifications

• Passionate coder with 7+ years of application development experience.
• Proficient Kotlin knowledge: Strong understanding of Kotlin syntax, features, and best practices
• 3+ years of software programing experience using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Experience with API development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or comparable modern UI framework
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with various AWS services
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
• Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
• Client facing and/or consulting experience is a must.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
  
  

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $ 64,974 to $ 149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
